Another HP Vid: "War"

Let's see if Google takes this video down... lol!  I had a blast making this video and I have a friend who loved it, so I thought I'd share it with you!!  I heard the song for the first time this last week and made this video because it went so well with Harry Potter!!  This is a trailer re-hash in that I simply used footage from the three trailers for Deathly Hallows (the combined Part 1 and Part 2 trailer, as well as the two released for Part 2).  Enjoy!!!

Random Thoughts

I should be in bed right now, but I'm not exactly tired...

A few random thoughts running through my head:

• I need to be packing and getting ready for a very long stay at my aunt's!  I'm going down to her place on Tuesday and won't be back until the following weekend!!!  (We're talking like August 12th).  I'm tending her dogs and it will be a very relaxing week of playing video games, working on my Destroyer Series, reading/studying/pondering, watching movies, and sleeping!  It's going to be GREAT!!  However, staying for a week in any one place away from home requires a bit of packing... just a bit!
  
• I purchased the new Simple Plan CD "Get Your Heart On!" yesterday, which I had NO IDEA they had released a new album!!  (It apparently came out at the end of June!)  I'm loving listening to it!  Some of the songs remind me so much of the "classic" Simple Plan, which I was worried they had partly left behind with their self entitled album--their style was so different; which wasn't bad, it just wasn't the SP I fell in love with, you know?  So I'm way excited about some of the songs on this album!!  My favorite song has to be "Astronaut" but other songs like "Loser of the Year" remind me so much of their old style that it easily could have been on their "Still Not Getting Any..." album!  "Loser of the Year" is probably my second favorite song currently...

• I went to three showings of Harry Potter 7 Part 2 in less than two weeks... It was a little overkill... but I thoroughly enjoyed it and whenever I watch the trailer/videos I want to go and see it again.  Is that bad?  I'm not a crazy HP nerd... or at least, I wasn't until the seventh movie.  Having never read the book, I was very impressed with J.K. Rowling's amazing creative ability to tie things together!!  Especially Snape's story.  For all of you out there who have not heard/read his story yet... it's amazing.  Having been a Sev fan since the beginning, his story was so great to finally learn!!  Haha!  I really sound like a fan now, don't I?  I am going back through and reading all the books (all of them this time--seeing as I've only read a few of them) and re-watching all the movies (I'm currently half-way through the Half-Blood Prince--movie 6).  I'm trying to buy myself time so I can see Part 2 again once it hits the cheap theater.  That way I don't get another HP overdose (like I did in that one week...)
  
• Funny story, I hung out with a friend of mine this last weekend and the conversation turned to the topic of marriage and how guys never ask girls out anymore!  The funny part is that my cousin posted on FB tonight that VERY comment!!  It was quite humorous to me, not to mention ironic!!
  
• I just found out that one of my favorite books, "Tiger's Curse" will be made into a movie at some point in the future.  I knew the author had talked to a movie producer during a chat session (she made mention of it in her blog) but I had no idea it had officially "been signed" so-to-speak.  Her exact words:

"...and the most coveted prize I will be giving away, which is an exclusive signed poster depicting concept art for the upcoming TIGER'S CURSE motion picture."

•  So I am quite excited about that!  But I'm worried because I don't know if it'll be animated or what... and I have never even HEARD of the company doing the film.  Ineffable Pictures?  Anyone heard of them?  Anyway, here's the amazing artwork concept for it!!

"Epic Story"

So, I found some HP7-2 footage on YouTube and ripped it!  I'm so excited!!!  This was a video I threw together because I LOVE Severus Snape so much and his story was truly epic when I saw it!!!

Such A Thing As Too Much Writing?

Is there such a thing?

I have concluded there is... in the physical sense that is.

Sadly enough, the other day I wrote approximately 20 pages (back and front) in my notebook... all long-hand.  That equated to a couple hours worth of constant writing... and I've paid for it ever since.

You know how when you write for long periods of time, or really quickly, your wrist and hand tense up, sending sharps pains radiating out?  Well, I didn't feel that initial "sharp" pain (probably because I was too distracted to my story to pay attention!).  But afterward, my wrist killed.  I even had to ice my wrist.  Can you imagine that?  What's more lame than "I wrote too much" as an excuse when people ask "What did you do?" when they see your bandaged wrist.  So I don't talk about it.  But honestly, it's been a pain.  (lol!)

However, yesterday, I decided to ignore it and write anyway.  I only wrote about 4 pages, but it was enough to keep me entertained.  Then I proceeded to go to work cleaning out my bathroom drawers (yay for throwing stuff away!!!).

But I'm loving how my Destroyer Series story is developing.  I was able to get all of Book 1 ("Tainted") outlined by hand!!  (I will have to do some tweaking, because I didn't have all my notes in front of me and I'm sure I missed some things--since I was doing it all from pure memory--but it's basically done.)  And I have a large portion of Book 2 outlined.  I was originally going to entitle it "Bound" because that made the most sense with the events that happen in the book.  However, as I was outlining, the thought of "Broken" came to mind as a possible title as well.  But as I'm typing this, I'm thinking "Bound" would still be best for Book 2 and "Broken" be Book 3... hmmm.... I'll think about that...

Anyway, despite my sore wrist I am still functioning... and still writing!!  It's all mind over hand, right?  ^-^

And I will keep writing... at least until it kills me...

...I don't think I can take a notebook with me if I leave this world... lol!!
